DSWD AND LGU ARTECHE IMMEDIATELY RESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF FLOOD VICTIMS IN ARTECHE, EASTERN SAMAR

April 28, 2024News Arteche experienced heavy rainfall and flooding due to the presence of a low-pressure area and shear line rain recently. Four thousand six hundred eighty two (4,682) individuals from (9) of our Barangays  are flood victims. Though there has been zero casualty, the extent of damage to crops and properties is substantial. DSWD with the LGU Arteche Relief Operations Team brave through flood waters to distribute food packs to families of Barangay Bigo ,Campacion,Inayawan,Tibalawon,Casidman,Cagsalay,Tawagan and Concepcion. Tibalawon-52 Mayor Roland Boie Evardone and VM Rolly Evardone personally supervised the relief operations today to make sure that even if the flood has not subsided, the people will have something to eat.
