Local IATF Meets to Stop the Spread of CoViD-19 Variants in Arteche

The Local Inter Agency Task Force of Arteche, headed by Hon. Mayor Roland Boie Evardone,RN convene on August 6, 2021 to discuss preventive measures to stop the spread of CoViD-19 in Arteche. This is after the DOH confirmed the presence of Alpha, Beta and Delta Variants in the municipality. Delta variant is said to be more contagious and deadly than the other variants.
The municipality reported its first Delta, Alpha and Beta Variants which are all local cases and no travel history outside Region 8. This means that strict measures needs to be imposed for Returning Residents (RR).
The IATF agreed to impose 14-day facility quarantine to those coming from Luzon who are non-vaccinated and 10-days for vaccinated individuals. To be able to identify returning residents from Luzon, border checkpoints will be established starting August 12, 2021. In addition, all are required to submit Health Certificate upon entry to the municipality.
With the upcoming Town Fiesta Celebration in Honor of St. Raymund Nonnatus in August 30-31, 2021 . The IATF also agreed to implement “Pinamilya nga Patron”, this means that borders will be closed for visitors and non-residents and religious activities will be the main highlight of the celebration.
