LGU Arteche, through its Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), successfully conducted an earthquake drill at the Municipal Hall yesterday, December 22, 2025.

The drill aimed to enhance the preparedness and responsiveness of municipal employees during earthquake scenarios. Participants practiced the standard “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, opening the doors at the onset of the earthquake, followed by an orderly evacuation to designated safe areas.

The activity forms part of the LGU’s continuing efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote a culture of safety within government offices, ensuring readiness in the event of a real earthquake
