According to initial reports, most residents in coastal barangays experienced flooding brought about by the combination of heavy rains and high tide during the typhoon’s onslaught. Despite these conditions, the assessment confirmed that no casualties or major damages were recorded—a testament to the community’s preparedness and the LGU’s proactive disaster response measures.
